Divine Purpose Guidework Spiritual Guidance Class
Chapter - Spiritual Guidance
About this Class:
Spiritual guidance is all about being guided from within. Listening to our own inner voice that emanates from our higher selves deep within our soul provides clarity, focus and realization that can come from no other source. As we integrate the knowledge that we receive from outside ourselves with the wisdom from within our consciousness expands. Enlightenment is the expansion of consciousness that comes forth from the spiritual guidance of Source through our heart center, the seat of the soul. Divine wisdom pouring through this open channel of our higher selves, our soul center, guides us to an enlightened perspective. From this vantage point of enlightenment we are guided by our own intuition, our inner wisdom, spirit guides, angels and celestial beings.
Let's review for a moment the lessons that have brought us up to this point.
We learned in the Intuition Class that everyone has intuition. Intuition is the ability to acquire immediate knowledge without inference or the use of reason. Intuition draws on every stored experience you possess as well as divine knowledge and wisdom from deep within. The deeper we move into intuition, the greater our sphere of discernment becomes. Intuition is belief. It is the unmistakeable inner certainty of a belief that stems from deep within the heart and soul. And intuition is wisdom. It is the inner sensory mechanism of calling up higher wisdom for our best interest. Intuition is never wrong.
The Life Purpose Class taught us to trust ourselves to know and understand our life purpose. We learned to acknowledge that we already possess what we need to achieve our life purpose. Life purpose is a matter of taking responsibility, of being the steward of our lives, and being aware of our purpose every day in every situation while making our life decisions. We understand that the steps to following our life purpose are: know your purpose; agree to your purpose; give it your attention; follow your intuition; use your gifts and choose your purpose again.
In the Clarity Class we saw that knowing the language of Spirit increases understanding. Spirit speaks in the quiet recesses of our souls. As we empty our minds and allow our souls to become still, a deep awareness sets in. We learned that as we increase our focus and expand our view, changing our perspective changes EVERYTHING. As we seek to comprehend our own internal communication with clarity it is important to remember stillness, focus and perspective. We move into the space of the stillness of our soul with quiet focus and allow. The profound understanding that settles into our souls presents us with an enlightened perspective, a clearer perspective.
We found in the Divine Nature Class that the eternal power and divine nature of the Creator is instilled in us through Spirit to bring to pass immortality and eternal life. As eternal beings of light, we are partakers of divine nature. Our divine nature is a well-spring of spiritual wisdom. Divine nature is the highest spiritual essence of light and love. It is the substance of spirit in its purest form. We have many soul memories stirring within us. When we pay attention to this inner wisdom our souls flourish and our hearts grow.
The Inner Journey Class revealed to us that the inner journey is an enterprise of introspection and an adventure of soul travel to greater and greater depths of awareness. The outward journey is marked with signs; the inward journey with symbols. Symbology reaches our inner Spirit as it bypasses the human conscious and subconscious mind and personality. It moves us at the soul level first, and then we can bring that awareness into consciousness. Symbols are the impressions from within that guide us to spiritual wisdom and draw us to personal revelation. Releasing expectations and allowing the journey to unfold opens the pathway to infinite wisdom, knowledge, joy and beauty.
In the Divine Purpose Class we discovered that Divine purpose is the intent of the Creator and our innermost highest intent of our souls. Following the path of divine purpose is being who we truly are in our divine light. Living in the light of our divine purpose brings us into alignment with our Divine nature and into harmony with our life plan.
We saw in the Soul Work Class that the work of our souls in this life is to align ourselves with our divine purpose. Putting our divine plan into action reflects our commitment to living responsibly as a divine being in human form.
The Spiritual Development Class reminded us that our spiritual development is the metamorphosis of our consciousness and spirituality. In the depths of the heart of our soul is our interface with Divine Source. In the silence of the soul, the voice of Spirit speaks the language of Light. As we allow ourselves to experience this awareness from within, we receive a perspective beyond time and space, beyond physical and mortal, beyond three dimensions. This Divine perspective is the vision of an enlightened soul from the timelessness of eternity.
You are never without guides. Anyone or anything providing any type of guidance is a guide. You may call upon God, Divine Source, angels and archangels for guidance, and you recognize them as guides. You may call upon spirit guides or loved ones who have crossed over, and these are guides. You may be aware of animal spirits, plant spirits, gemstone frequencies and other energies of nature, and these are guides. You may notice colors, shapes, designs, patterns, lights, sensations, tastes, smells, feelings and thoughts, and these are guides. From beings of light to subtleties, all these are guides because they guide you. All are worthy of your attention. And, as you give your attention to the guidance around you, you discern what is in resonance with your soul.
The spiritual practice with this class is working with a master. Following guidance with confidence and clarity involves trust, belief and surrender. We do not follow guidance with ease and grace by paying heed only once in awhile. Guidance is a continual process. It never ceases. Let me repeat that. It NEVER ceases. That is the key to receiving guidance. First understand that your guides never stop guiding you. Your own inner guidance from your higher self never ceases. Your spirit guides and master guide do not go on vacation. There is always, ALWAYS a guiding force at work for you. That is divine design. Understanding that simple principle greatly simplifies the process. If you are in search of guidance, all you have to do is learn to recognize it. Guidance is all around you. It is in the signs you see everywhere from the clouds in the sky to the leaves on the ground; from the words you hear spoken to the scents, sights, sounds and sensations coming into your awareness. Guidance is in the quiet nudgings of your soul and the stirring of your heart. Guidance is in your dreams and daydreams. It is in the thoughts that fleet across your mind. It is in the distraction that catches your attention for a fraction of a second. You do not wander in the dark except when you fail to raise your own light from within.
To understand guidance, first trust yourself. Your higher self, your inner soul of divine light is your compass and filter of discernment. Pass every bit of guidance through this filter to discern if it is genuine guidance in alignment with your divine purpose or something else. All that pass the test of being in harmony with the frequency of your divine purpose may be received as divine guidance. It really is that simple. At times this will require focus, quiet and meditation. The more practiced you become, the less time it takes to reach this level of discernment. Make this part of your daily spiritual practice. Start with things you already know the answer to. If you feel a desire for a slice of bread, pass the thought through your inner discernment process to determine if this is guidance from Divine Source in the frequency of Divine Light or something else. Unless the bread is essential to your divine purpose, you will discern that it is not of that frequency. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't eat the bread. It only means that you are free to choose, and your choice in the matter of the bread will not have a lasting effect upon the fulfillment of your divine purpose. Practice this at least once a day; much more often is preferable. The more often you put this to practice, the easier it becomes and the more quickly you receive your discernment. Discerning the vibrational frequency of divine light is clearer the more you remain accustomed to that frequency.
Working with a master means recognizing that you have a guide you can trust. You always, always use your discernment, even with your most trusted guides. When the guidance you receive from your trusted guide passes your discernment test, surrender to it. Allow your guide to reveal truth and light to you, to nuddge you gently, lovingly along the path of your own choosing for your divine purpose.
